An attorney who deals with a lot of PDFs set himself with the task of finding a way to preview the PDFs in Windows Explorer (much like Cover Flow view already does in Mac OS X) without actually opening them. He has searched high and low and have yet to find anything even remotely similar to Cover Flow on a Mac. He says doesn't need to be able to page through the files, just a quick look at the cover page.

A secretary gets sent a lot of files in PDF format, and it is tiring to having to keep opening them in Adobe Reader, whereas it would be great to see a preview of the file in Windows Explorer or in Microsoft Outlook (in much the same way as photo attachments are shown in full in the Preview Pane).

PDF previewer enables you to see the contents of a PDF document without opening it. You would probably have not realized how useful PDF preview is. When you're looking for a PDF file or you just need a bit of information from one, to preview PDF documents in a fast preview window is easier than opening files.

This freeware plug-in gives you PDF preview capabilities on the fly. Simply browse and click on any PDF document, and its content is shown in the Preview pane of Windows Explorer or in the Reading pane of Microsoft Outlook.
